Heading - Work with Young People
As well as practicing as an integrative counsellor, I have taught PE for over 20 years and have worked with young people across a wide variety of settings. My counselling experience covers secondary school age children where I use a range of creative interventions to engage and support young people. These include aspects of CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Art Therapy, walk/exercise and talk Therapy and more. I have practiced in the area of suicide prevention, self-harm, anxiety, depression, gender, sexual and neurodiversity, low self-esteem/self-worth, relationship counselling and grief counselling.

I feel I can relate well to young people, helping them to feel at ease and enabling them to process and work through all that they are experiencing. I have passion to help and see these teenagers and young adults find a positive way forward that gives them hope for their future and a way to live life that is healthy and fulfilling for them.
Heading - Sessions
I am a fully Qualified Integrative Counsellor.  I am based in the Penrith/Keswick Area of Cumbria. I offer face to face counselling in my therapy room (Penrith/Keswick area)or if you prefer,  telephone or online counselling using Microsoft teams. My consulting room is easily accessible by road and there is driveway parking.  There is a local bus stop, just 10 minutes walk away. The room is on the ground floor with a private toilet.  There is a small step into the property.  During an initial 20 minute telephone appointment, we will explore what brings you to therapy and together we determine your goals and a plan to move forward together.

I am a member of two accredited Counselling bodies, The National Counselling Society (NCPS) and The Association of
Christians in Counselling (ACC)
